HONDA RS 125 GP

 In this section we'll reveal a GP bike, the João Pinto's Honda RS 125 GP.

João was participating for 2 years in the National Cagiva Mito 125 Trophy, using an modified rotary valve Cagiva Mito 125 engine by LuFo, then he decided to enter in the 125 GP class by buying an Honda RS 125 for participating in the European, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish Championships.

In 2002, RacingSM colaborated on making the dossier for João in order to get some funds for its debut in the 3 Championships he entered.

Piston: HRC 54 mm piston.
Stroke: Stock (54.5 mm).
Crankshaft: HRC with more weight, trued.
Cylinder: HRC
Cylinder heads: Aftermarket for 16:1 compression ratio using viton o'rings.
Radiator: HRC.
Sparks: NGK B10EGV.
Reeds: HRC for Honda RS 125 carbon reeds with spacer.
Carburetor: Mikuni TMX 39mm with electronic powerjet command.
Air Filter: doesn't use any kind of air filter .
Electric part: PVL digital programmable ignition.
Connecting-Rods: HRC connecting-rod kit (108 mm).
Clutch: Reinforced with HRC basket and ferodo disks .
Exhaust system: JOLLY Moto or LuFo.
Silencers: JOLLY Moto / DLR / stock silencer.
Oil: Direct mixture in the deposit @ 3-4%, using CASTROL A747.
Transmission: depends of the track.
Gearbox: possibility of changing the gear ratios depending of the track.
Engine maximum rotation in charge: near 13 300 rpm
Engine power output: 45 - 46 hp; Dry Weight: 70 kgs
Rear Wheel Power Output: 40 - 41 hp; 415 Chain
Real Velocity: 215 - 230 REAL km/h depending on the transmission and track.
