In this section we will reveal some details about our near-future project.
Basically, we will use an Honda CR 250 2002 - 2004' frame and swingarm, but changing the original monocylinder CR 250 powerplant with 58.6 engine hp @ 8 750 rpm with a new powerplant, this one will be a Yamaha TZR 250 3MA with reverse cylinders. |
 |
|
|
The Yamaha TZR 250 3MA engine, it's an in-line reverse bi-cylinder, with stock quotes of 56mm x 50.6mm making 249 cc.
The main objective of this prototype, is to unite the pleasure and easiness of controling a lightweight supermotard with a bicylinder 250 cc GP powerplant pedigree.
We think this is the best overall funbike, because you can enjoy it in the local areas, as well as in the highways, with an excellent relation weight/power of approximately 1 to 1. |
|
Big bore kit 325 cc, using original stroke 50.6mm and Yamaha TZ 350 pistons 64mm. |
New cylinders diagrams, reshaped ports and transfers. |
Modified cylinder heads for new compression ratio of ~14:1, using pump gas |
True crankshaft for maximum precision and balance it with a tendency to the TDC. |
WISECO Hot Rods connecting-rods with long length. |
2 Keihin PWK 41mm Pro-Series carburetors without using any kind of air filter. |
2 VFORCE YZ 250 carbon reeds packs. |
Custom made inlet manifold for new carburetors. |
2 Hand-made exhaust systems, for 12 600 rpm in charge. |
69% of engine square index. |
Hand-made CDI by LuFo with new ignition diagram map. |
PVL analog rotor. |
|
The power output predicted for this engine preparation is about 95 - 110 engine hp in a reliable Dyno. |
